It’s been quite a festive couple of weeks for photo fad memes: at first there was Hadokening (a.k.a Makankosappo) in Japan, followed by the American spin-off fad Vadering and now there’s Dogs Wearing Pantyhose (a.k.a Gou Gou Chuan Siwa), the latest bizarro meme from China’s largest microblogging network Weibo.

This needs to stop.

The Rolling Stones are expected to make a big announcement on Wednesday, and it’s presumably about their long-rumored American summer tour. Billboards stating “Start Me Up” and other song titles alongside the Stones’ tongue logo have gone up around the country and the band has been promoting #StartMeUpWednesday on social media.
